At Christmas there is an ancient tradition. The Consoada Bonfire takes place on the 24th of December, where at night people gather around this huge wood with very high flames, to eat and drink in a large community gathering.

In winter the village reaches low temperatures and it usually snows, making it a stunning landscape.
